SUMMARY:COURSE - CORE BELIEFS\, PRACTICES AND VALUES OF ISLAM - 06.1
DESCRIPTION:This session focuses on the core beliefs\, practices and values of Islam. We will discuss the five pillars of Islam which form the room of most of the mandatory practices\, the six pillars of faith (belief\, Arabic Iman) and the inner values which breathe life into these beliefs and practices (Ihsan). We will further examine the societal values which arise by adopting these three elements. Lastly we can take a look at how these values transcended particular regions and cultures\, morphing into a “World Islam” based on the Last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad. While this session will build upon the previous one\, the material will not be the same.
